Welcome to my online portfolio. I am seeking work as a graphic designer because I know I can do it. I am an artist through and through. My energy and enthusiasm has been my strength through 11 years of teaching art. I won my first blue ribbon as a kindergartener at a county fair, so I can safely say that I have 38 years of art experience. Yikes, I’ve just revealed my age. My creativity can sometimes drive me crazy because I find inspiration everywhere around me, but I have never been bored a day in my life.
I have high expectations for myself and a passion for learning. I am a great planner and communicator. As a teacher, my organizational skills, flexibility, motivational skills, and effective lesson planning made my work successful and fulfilling. Those skills, along with my leadership and cooperative skills and my dedication to my students (my clients) will prove effective for me as a graphic designer.
